The Nerdlesque Festival is taking over DC Brau for a monthly spectacle of epic sexy proportions; Welcome to DC BRAULESQUE
Will you witness the beginning of our Villain arc? Will you see Mario save Peach? Will you finally catch Team Rocket blasting off again? You’ll just have to come to DC BRAULESQUE every month to find out! We'll keep it new, nerdy and NSFW, features the best in nerdlesque, pop culture performance art and entertainment. Who better than to host such festivities than your favorite duo; Maki Roll and Kimono Jones.
Enjoy delicious award winning craft beer from the first modern DC brewery! There is a beer for even the most picky drinker *cough* MAKI *cough*

WHAT IS NERDLESQUE? Nerdlesque is the art of undressing your favorite pop culture character or concept. It’s like Marvel’s “What If..?” but make it sexy and serve it with beer!
GET NERDY WITH US: Located in Northeast DC, the brewery spans more than 48,500 square feet of warehouse space off of Bladensburg Road. We’re down the driveway behind
Roaming Rooster. Get there early for private lot parking, otherwise there is plenty of street parking.
Accessibility: There is a steep hill that leads down to the brewery. Please use caution when walking as cars will drive down to the lot. There is a long, spacious ramp into the venue.
Nearest Metro: Brookland-CUA metro station / red line
COVID-19 SAFETY: DC Brau does not require proof of vaccination, however we ask that you wear your masks at all times when not drinking. We're trying to keep everyone safe so we can keep doing this forever!
ATTIRE: Come in full cosplay, geek chic, or somewhere in between. Let your freak flag fly or keep it incognito in your secret identity, either way your secret is safe with us!
TIPS: Please by all means shower us with money! Tipping can be done by throwing money on stage or through CashApp links.

FOOD: While DC Brau does not offer food, there will be assorted food trucks (to be announced) as well as a Roaming Rooster in the shopping complex (their chicken sandwiches are to DIE for).
PLEASE NOTE: This is a safe environment for people of all walks of life. Abusive speech and/or behavior toward patrons or performers will lead to immediate removal from the venue without a refund. Please be excellent to each other.
