Steeped in Bluegrass, Blues and American Roots Music, The DB’s bring an energy and love for improvisation and tradition bound with modern edges. Their bag is deep, drawing from old standards, classic rock tunes, swampy blues, traditional fiddle tunes as well as original compositions.
The band is based in Chicago and draws it’s inspiration from musical pioneers ranging from Bill Monroe to Robert Johnson, the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers, Ry Cooder, Lyle Lovett, Jerry Douglas, Peter Rowan and Warren Zevon
