More about Paj Ntaub Cuisine
Traditionally, the Hmong would share stories through generations by sewing them into the Paj Ntaub.
Using that concept, Blong started his own Hmong catering business called Paj Ntaub Cuisine. Which specializes in sharing stories of Hmong food while adding a modern twist. Peter offers chef tastings and cooking classes as a bonus. He also helps others share their stories through food by collaborating with community chefs and youth.
Paj Ntaub Cuisine is more than just a catering business; it'sit's also a community helping to build the next generation
More about Blong Vang
Chef Vang graduated with his A.A.S. in Culinary Arts from Saint Paul College in 2016. While in school, he began working in the culinary industry, including high-end restaurants such as Meritage and Upton 43 (currently Martina). Soon after, he became the Sous Chef at Blackdog Cafe in Lowertown.
Peter knew he wanted to do more than just be an ordinary chef, so he began teaching kids in the city through a nonprofit called YouthFarm. He taught youth how to plant, grow, and cook their produce through food education and relationship building.
Chef Blong is passionate about teaching youth in the cities about food education. And he hopes this provides another door to help kids stay off the streets.
Participants will receive a $5 off $25 coupon for their participation in the class.
