🌟 Dayton Flow Arts Gathering 🌟
Calling all flow artists! Whether you're a seasoned performer, hobbyist, or just starting your flow journey, the Dayton Flow Arts Gathering is the perfect place to connect, grow, and collaborate with the local flow community.
What to Expect: Join us for an evening dedicated to skill sharing, creativity, and building connections. This event is designed to foster collaboration and growth within the Dayton flow arts community. Here's what you can look forward to:
- 🔥 Connect with fellow flow artists from Dayton and beyond
- 🎨 Share your skills, tips, and techniques in a supportive, laid-back environment
- 🌀 Learn - In this workshop we will learn how a Contact staff moves in relationship to our body. We will cover combos that are based on travel direction and spinning direction. This will help us understand the dynamics of the contact staffs movement. We will learn how we can integrate our legs into our patterns. This can be done by finding pathways between our hands and feet.
We welcome artists of all flow disciplines: poi, hoops, juggling, staff, silk fans, rope dart, and more! Whatever you flow with, bring it along! 🌈 However, please note that we will be indoors, so no fire props will be permitted for use.
About our Instructor: Sparkles has been spinning contact staff for 8 years. They love to share what they have learned along the journey.
