Welcome to the Dayton ASHRAE Chapter - October Meeting!

Come join us for our monthly gathering at the Engineers Club of Dayton. This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow HVAC professionals, learn about the latest industry trends, and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Sustainability Director, Nadja Turek, will provide a corporate perspective on their journey to net-zero by 2040, their climate action plans and projects, and their management of significant climate risks, especially to their subsidiary Hawaiian Telcom. altafiber has invested $2+ billion in fiber to serve Greater Cincinnati, plus more than 400,000 homes in new markets in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Subsidiary Hawaiian Telcom has invested $1.7B towards the goal of making Hawaii the “first fully fiber-enabled state in the country by 2026.” Meanwhile, the company has successfully decoupled business growth from carbon growth, reducing emission 10.5% in the last four years.
