About this Event
In this class series, we will cover basic drawing techniques and concepts that apply to a broad range of artistic practices. Technical concepts include: line, shape, form, value, scale, space, texture, and gesture. Creative prompts will be inspired by nature, storytelling, and personal experiences, and they will encourage participants to draw from observation as well as the imagination.
Classes are prompt-based rather than image-based, meaning participants will receive both group instruction and individual coaching in the development of general drawing skills and creative ideas.

This is a supplementary course for school students and life-long learners alike (*ages 10+ is highly recommened)! Lessons are designed to build off one another, however classes can be selected individually. Materials are provided for each class. While classes are oriented towards beginners, all skill-levels are welcome!
