DayLab, DanceWorks Chicago's version of a One-Day Workshop, is open to dancers 15+ working at an advanced/professional level. Join us IRL and immerse yourself in a welcoming environment geared to addressing your body, mind, and spirit! Discover and share inspiration through training, artistic exploration, and connecting with your peers, including DanceWorks Chicago dancers!SCHEDULE (all times Central):
10am-11:15am: Ballet with DWC Artistic Director Julie Nakagawa
11:15am-11:30am: break
11:30am-1:30pm: NEW DWC rep and JAM Circle (how Dance360!!!) with Guest Choreographer Charissa-Lee Barton!
1:30pm-2:15pm, Seminar with Julie and Dance360 Program Director Sara Bibik
2:15pm-2:30pm, break
2:30pm-3pm, informal showing of Charissa’s new work Mutter Matters! Be the first to see the piece that Team DWC will premiere in St. Louis at the Spring to Dance Festival!
