Retreat with Denis for a day to the beautiful yoga space at the Eggert's farm in Wauchope with views over lush farmlands all the way to Bago Bluff. The day will start with an introduction to Pranayama. We will explore breathing exercises, that will leave you both buzzing with energy and deeply relaxed. These practices include tools we can use in everyday life to step out of the busy-ness of our minds and into a calmer, more relaxed state.
We will then move into a physical yoga practice of yoga postures to stretch and strengthen our bodies. This practice is suitable for anyone who enjoys movement and has some previous yoga experience.
While some yoga experience and a reasonable level of fitness is required to enjoy this part of the day, you don't have to be a seasoned practitioner. Variations will be given for more challenging postures and you can use equipment for support.
If you have physical limitations that impede your ability to move freely, or you are unsure whether your current level of experience will allow you to enjoy this retreat fully, please contact me to discuss.
Lunch will be time to relax, enjoy the peaceful surrounds and a nourishing vegetarian meal.
In the afternoon we'll return to our mats to enjoy restorative yoga and supported by the healing vibrations of crystal bowls and other soundhealing instruments with Jodie Alaban.
You can bring your own mat and equipment or use what is available at the studio.
