The hike will take about 1.5-2 hours, depending on pace. AllTrails says it's 3.5 mile hike, total. We will meet at the ranger station at the covered park benches, to start our hike together. We will hike up to the steel bridge and cross over to the other side of the river. There's a clearing about 15 minute walk past the steel bridge that we've done yoga and meditation years past. We will break here for 30 minutes of stillness, meditation, gentle yoga and stretching. We will carry on down to the river entrance not far from parking. Weather permitting, many of of swim, before heading to lunch. Group lunch is optional.
The price for this retreat is $25. If you bring a friend, $20 each. If you bring 3+ friends, $15 each.
Parking is $10 per car. For carpooling option, we meet at the Sacramento natural foods coop grocery store, downtown Sacramento at 7am. Please give the driver $4-5 for gas and to help cover parking. If you are running late for carpooling, please message the host.
