The third screening of the Autumn -24 season of the "New European Film" series is award winning Romanian drama "Tigru - Day of the Tiger". Before the film we will show a pre-recorded interview with director Andrei Tănase.
Vera is a vet in a small-town zoo in Transylvania. After losing her new-born baby, she becomes obsessed with giving him the proper Eastern Orthodox burial rituals. She spends all her time at work and subsequently drifts apart from her husband, Toma.
But one day a tiger escapes from the zoo.
