About this Event
Come celebrate and learn about Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, at our family-friendly party! We'll be honoring loved ones with a special screening of Disney-Pixar's Coco during the celebration.
In addition to the movie, we'll have a variety of festive activities, including:
- Día de los Muertos Crafts: Get creative with crafts inspired by the holiday, perfect for all ages
- Delicious Snacks: Enjoy traditional treats and light refreshments.
- Community Ofrenda: We invite you to bring a photo of a loved one who has passed away to place on our communal ofrenda (altar). This is a beautiful way to remember and honor those who are no longer with us.
Join us for an afternoon of snacks, crafts, and remembering those we hold in our hearts.
This program is drop-in. Feel free to come and go anytime during the party. Children ages 10 and under may not be in the library without an adult. If you plan to include a photo of a loved one who has passed on, please make sure to include your contact information on the back if you would like it returned to you.
