Andrew is an amazing instructor. He has taught for MAC, Makeup Forever, and is the global educator for CAO cosmetics. In this 2 -hour class you will learn about the colorful and vibrant traditions of the Dia de Los Muertos Mexican heritage history and cultural significance of the beautiful celebration. Andrew will explore techniques and color theory that can also translate to creating other fantasy looks and even stunning beauty makeup.
You'll learn how to create harmonious and complementary color palettes as well as his golden tips and tricks.
Our experienced instructor Andrew Velázquez was born and raised Chicano from Los Angeles. He will teach about the symbolism of the sugar skull, the meaning behind the colorful flowers and patterns, and the importance of honoring loved ones who have passed.

In a star-studded career, Andrew has worked as a makeup artist with major celebrities, from Lady Gaga to RuPaul to Demi Levato, along with countless others from major film, TV, and music video productions.
Andrew is a born and bred Angeleno who always knew he was meant for a life in beauty. While rising through the ranks of MAC and Anastasia of Beverly Hills he decided to launch his own beauty line and is the founder of Love is Art | Art is Love™ Cosmetics. Also a published author and finalist from American Beauty Star.
