As the Day of the Dead draws near, it's a touching reminder to treasure the memories of our departed friends and loved ones. It's a celebration of their lives and a moment to reflect on the value of our own.
So, let's come together in the true spirit of Mexico and celebrate!

Come down and celebrate Mexican Day of the Dead with us at The Geelong West Town Hall!
This is an authentic Mexican event, carefully put together by Mexicans, featuring Mexican performers. We deeply value and take immense pride in our cultural roots, and we're thrilled to share them with all who join us.
While we wholeheartedly appreciate how diverse cultures embrace our celebrations (and we enthusiastically participate in theirs), if you're looking for an unfiltered, genuine experience, this is the one event you absolutely must not miss.
ADULT SHOW (7pm)
The party doesn't stop until the break of dawn, or until the cops come for us, whichever comes first - Mexican style, chingao!
Dress in your finest Day of the Dead attire and makeup (it's a costume celebration after all, with a BIG prize: -$500 Dollars not Pesos for the winner!) and prepare for a night filled with Mexican and Latin DJs, live music including MARIACHI, a lively photo booth, a traditional Altar and an Aztec Shaman ready to cleanse away those bad spirits and doing an opening ceremony in Aztec language.
With the unique, the spectacular, the one and only Lucha Fantastica, Mexican Wrestling show in Australia followed by our infamous Tequila fiesta.
If that was not enough, join our VIP Tequila Experience with Señor Fantastico talking about all things Mexican, agave distillates (tequila and mezcal) and of course the tradition of the Day of the Dead Celebration.
PLEASE NOTE: Tequila VIP Experience starts at 6pm sharp –not Mexican time-, please arrive early so you won't miss a shot!
Visit our Mexican Cantina where you will find some tequilas and mezcales not available anywhere else in Australia! Yes, no other bar or Mexican restaurant has this amazing beverages, they are exclusive to the Day of the Dead Fiesta!
And sip on margaritas and other special cocktails as you dance with beautiful skeletons to the rhythm of Mariachi. Si Señor!

COSTUME CELEBRATION
Come dressed in your finest attire and do your best Day of the Dead makeup! Don't worry if you're unsure how to create the perfect look – No problema-, we have you covered with skilled face painters on hand to transform you!
We will also have Lucha Libre masks for sale (Mex Wrestling masks!)

TRADITIONAL ALTAR
Our traditional Day of the Dead Altar will be on display and we invite anyone who wishes to bring a photo or leave a note in remembrance of our departed loved ones. They may not be with us in person, but they will certainly be with us in spirit on this special night.

AZTEC SHAMAN
Get rid of the bad vibes with a cleansing from our Aztec Shaman. He will also do the opening ceremony in Aztec language.

MEXICAN CANTINA
Open to everyone! With boutique tequilas, mezcales and other agave distillates not available anywhere else in Australia! Yes, exclusive to the Day of the Dead Fiesta, we will have for example: mezcales distilled with cempasuchil flower (traditional flower used for decorations at the Dia de los Muertos) or an Avispa (Wasp, si, real wasp inside the mezcal) or a sotol distilled with rattle snake venom!
MEXICAN WRESTLING
Get ready to be transported to Mexico! The Geelong West Town Hall will be magically transformed into a haunted Lucha Libre Arena for this thrilling show filled with action, acrobatics, and a dash of comedy!
