The Tradition
Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a vibrant Mexican tradition rooted in honoring and celebrating the lives of those who have passed away. It’s a colorful, joyful occasion marked by offerings, music, family reunions, and cultural rituals.
Similarly, in the Philippines, Undas (or Araw ng mga Patay) is a sacred time for families to visit gravesites, pray, and remember loved ones through quiet reflections and beautiful customs that emphasize respect, love, and spiritual connection.
Whether you’re new to this beautiful tradition or wish to deepen your connection to your ancestors, this is a sacred space designed to evoke reflection, gratitude, and hope. Come as you are—bring your love, your memories, and your spirit—and leave with a renewed sense of connection and peace.
What To Bring
As a group, we’ll assemble a beautiful altar to honor our ancestors. Please bring:
· Flowers
· Photos or images of your loved ones*
· Mementos or special tokens to add to the altar*
*Please be sure to take your items home at the end of the evening.
Experience an unforgettable night of love, remembrance, and spiritual beauty.
We look forward to sharing this powerful journey with you.
