Herb and Hive is adding an event to our calendar before things get crazy with all the things the holidays bring. So mark your calendars for Saturday, November 1 from 5-8pm. We are going to celebrate Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos. Day of the Deaf is a Mexican holiday celebrated from October 31st to November 2nd, honoring and remembering deceased loved ones. It's a vibrant and joyful celebration, not a somber mourning period, where families welcome back the spirits of their ancestors for a brief reunion. Traditions include building altars, decorating graves, sharing favorite foods and drinks of the departed, and telling stories about them.
We will have food by Las Patatas De Rafa which will be an authentic paella made fresh in front of us.
