If you have lost someone, particularly as a result of a crime, we hope you will join us for this year's Day of Remembrance event. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the west lawn of the Pennington County Courthouse, providing a meaningful space for families and friends to pay tribute to loved ones lost to violence.
Families and friends are invited to participate by reading their loved one's name, bringing a photo, and sharing a moment of reflection as a bell is rung in their memory. The event is intended to provide a sense of community and support for families while also recognizing the lasting impact of these tragedies.
