MORNING SESSION
You may or may not know that the Guru Chant - repeated in yoga studios and ashrams all over the world - is part of a MUCH larger work; a deep conversation between Shiva and Parvati, about how to be a good teacher and how to be a good student - of yoga and therefore how to live a truly meaningful life.
Key verses from the Guru Gita will be explored by Seema Johari Agarwal, daughter of Harish Johari, and Keith Kempis, Director of BIJA Yoga, on harmonium. A morning of higher learning and even higher vibration.
For yoga teachers wishing to elevate their teaching far beyond the physical, as well as students of yoga.
AFTERNOON SESSION
The Bhagavad Gita presents the teachings of Yoga in the most poetic way: as an epic story written in verse. And this story is about the warrior in all of us; seeking guidance and strength to fulfill our dharma (purpose). Seema Agarwal learnt the Gita from her father, Master Harish Johari, and presents the essential teachings in a truly inspiring and interactive way. Assisted by Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, Opera Australia’s Sanskrit Language Coach and BIJA Yoga Director, Keith Kempis, on harmonium. For yogis old and new, yoga teachers and those in a transitional period in their lives.
