Nevada’s oldest museum, the Nevada Historical Society belongs to the University Museum District. These diverse museums, galleries and attractions are dedicated to furthering the cultural education of Northern Nevada.You’re invited to walk the University of Nevada, Reno’s Museum District and tour museums on and around campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Day at the Museum features a self-guided tour and will feature a different activity. Art, history, earth science, life science, and outer space, here’s your opportunity to explore that will be fun for the whole family. Campus parking will be free for this event. This is a free event.
University Museum District: Wilbur D. May Museum, The Lilley Museum of Art, University Galleries, Nevada Historical Society, the Anthropology Museum, the Arboretum, Special Collections, Great Basin History of Medicine Museum, the Fleischmann Planetarium, the Keck Museum, and the Museum of Natural History, College of Engineering K-12 Teaching Lab, and Black Rock Press. Hands-on activities, scavenger hunts and other fun activities for the entire family.
