Celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day with us on an early morning walk through Grin Low Woods! Join the BCA woodland team and volunteer bird experts, as we listen to and identify the incredible variety of birdsong at sunrise.Learn to recognise the calls of birds such as the Song Thrush, Blackbird, Robin, and Blackcap, and gain a deeper appreciation for nature’s sweet morning chorus.
Location: Grin Low Woods (Meeting point: Outside Poole’s Cavern Visitor Centre)

Time: 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM (please arrive ready to set off at 5:00 AM)

After the walk, enjoy a well-earned bacon bap (or vegetarian alternative) and a tea or coffee at the Café at the Cavern.

No dogs permitted
What to expect:
A slow-paced walk in all weather conditions—please dress accordingly.
Sturdy footwear required as the terrain may be muddy, steep, or uneven.
