About this Event
Celebrate Dawn Chorus Day at Gillespie Park. Bird expert Mike Priaulx will be leading the bird watch and we'll finish the event with some hot drinks back inside the Ecology Centre.
We have binoculars to borrow or you can bring your own if you have them. This event is for anyone that loves birds - whether you're new to bird watching or not.
Meet at the Ecology Centre for 7am and we'll head out into the park together.
Mike Priaulx founded Islington Swifts Group in 2016 to protect populations of endangered urban birds in Islington and the surrounding area. Mike has been an eco-buildings consultant for more than 20 years, and has a lifetime's interest in birds and wildlife.
