Admire the talent of our local artists and celebrate the opening of the new Dawesville Community Centre at this special exhibition curated by Corrine Rapley.From contemporary works to more traditional mediums and plenty in between, we’re shining the light on the amazing artists that call Dawesville and its surrounding areas home.
- Opening times
The launch of the exhibition will coincide with the Dawesville Community Centre’s official opening event, kicking off at 12pm Sunday, 31 August.
It will run through to Friday, 19 September, with the public able to view the exhibition from 10am-2pm, Monday to Friday.
- People’s choice award
Art lovers will have the chance to vote for their favourite piece on display as part of a special people’s choice award.
Simply pick up a voting card at the entrance, select the number of the artwork you wish to vote for, and drop your card in the ballot box on your way out.
The winning artist will take home a prize valued at $350.
