September brings a really exciting speaker to AFF in Davy Wotton!! It’s been a while since we’ve hosted Davy—a Fly Fishing Hall of Fame Guide, winner of US National Fly Fishing Championship titles, and international fly fishing legend from right here in Arkansas. Davy’s talk will be a historical survey titled “The Evolution of Fly Fishing in the Last 300 Years.”
Davy, a native of Wales, has changed the way we fly fish by bringing centuries old techniques to Arkansas’s White River. Over the years, loads of AFF members have fished with him, learned from his presentations, watched his many videos, used his uniquely developed flies, read one his many articles which provide practical advice and insight, and more. From the newest to the sport to the most advanced—we’ve benefitted from Davy's significant contributions to the sport of fly fishing whether we know it or not.
So join us at the Whole Hog Cafe, 2516 Cantrell Rd, Little Rock, AR 72202. If you're a member, we'd love to see you...if you're not, we welcome you. Be our guest! We'd love to show you what AFF is all about!
