About The Davie Jazz Society
The Davie Jazz Society is the volunteer community outreach sector that supports the mission of International Jazz Day and the Jazz Festival. We are a society of musicians, artists, humanitarians, educators. business owners and non-profits working together to enhance the cultural climate in our community. One of our focus areas is the Cultural Corridor Compact "The Compact" : CCCs mission is to grow the Town of Davie's culture through jazz, arts, education, and humanitarian service. Driving efforts through year-round events, developing and activating programs that support the community with the support from developers and contractors and local business and community leaders. In short, “The Compact” is to expand cultural diversity and stimulate economic growth. This is done through programs and through monthly jazz events in partnerships with businesses and residents in but not limited to downtown Davie.
