T'is with a heart as warm as a dram of fine Scotch, that we extend this grand invitation to ye all.Our very own Davie Graham , Edmonton’s rugby legend and founder of the Clansmen RFC , is turnin' 90 years young. 90 years of tackle-breakin’, rookie guidin', try-scorin’, and leadin’ the charge on and off the pitch. Davie’s been a pioneer, a mentor, and an inspiration to generations, and now it’s time to honor him the proper way—by throwin’ a do!
So, gather yer kilts and stuff yer sporran, bathe yerself, put the home fires out, lock the hounds away, and join us. *Expect a night of scrumptious fare, lively tunes , and tales that’ll warm even the coldest of hearts. We’ll raise a glass (or a few) to Davie’s life, legacy, and all the tries he’s still got in him.
*Parking is available at both the Central Lions Rec Centre and at Dun Grottie, Home of the Clansmen RFC
*Reception line at 6:30pm, Dinner at 7:00pm. Formal Program to follow
*Merriment to follow until 9:30pm when we will retire to the friendly confines of Dun Grottie for Entertainment. Prepare to Dance so dust off thy best jigs, If all else fails, just claim thy shoes are too worn for such folly.
