About this Event
David Yarrow will be back in Dallas this November showcasing his latest photography. Yarrow has been busy this year traveling around the world and adding new masterpieces to his collection as he journeys to these storytelling locations.
Working with top athletes, models, and cultural movements, Yarrow has broken the glass ceiling to his Storytelling series, and means to challenge our minds and break the boundaries that surround what a photograph "should '' be. Yarrow is making each photograph everything he wants it to be, sacrificing not a single symbol in the illustration of his packed narratives. Yarrow reminds us that a single person really can be all things, and his photography supports this notion.
Whether he is cracking jokes with collectors, attending massive donation galas, falling into a crevasse in the artic, or spending time with his son, he reminds us that to make great art, we must first make great friends. It is this desire to build relationships with each person he encounters that has made these new photographs so special, as Yarrow provides layered perspectives into existences outside of his own, which are held to equal importance through his photography.
Yarrow holds an exhibition with Samuel Lynne Galleries each year, and each year the excitement around his presence amplifies. Please join us in welcoming and celebrating the return of a photographer who has done so much to get to know the people of Texas, so that he may capture the essence of our cities in his ground-breaking artworks.
