About this Event
Join the Orlando Museum of Art for a special lecture with photographer and director David LaChapelle and OMA Chief Curator Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon, offering an inside look at David LaChapelle: As the World Turns. Together, they’ll look back on LaChapelle’s groundbreaking career from his early days in 1980s New York and his work with Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine to the iconic fashion, celebrity, and symbolic images he’s known for, touching on themes like spirituality, environmental vulnerability, and what it means to be human. The lecture provides a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist and curator behind this major exhibition, followed by a book signing with David LaChapelle.
*Please note this event is for guests 18 and older. Registered Eventbrite attendees may check in beginning at 1:00 p.m. Doors will open to the public for unregistered seating at 1:50 p.m.
