David Ivan Neil is a musician/artist/actor living in the beautiful town of Enderby, British Columbia. He has been making music and art for over 25 years. He makes lofi, anti folk music with a country twang. His songs try to find beauty, sadness and humour in the mundane. In 2018, David took his music out of the bedroom and into the studio (though Racoon Moon studio was still technically in a bedroom) and began releasing records with Kingfisher Bluez (Peach Pit, Blessed, Tim The Mute) beginning with 2019’s ‘What Is Love’ which garnered DIN the FVMA for Country artist of the year. For his latest album ‘I Hope Yer Ok’ Perpetual Doom (Little Wings, Graves, Lee Baggett and Austin Leornard Jones) has joined the DIN team, releasing a limited run of tapes.Danny Bell and His Disappointments play western-folk-psych-punk.They live on unceded Lhedli T’enneh Territory in Northern British Columbia and tour all over Canada. Exclaim! Magazine called their last full-length album an “anti capitalist, anti-elitist, anti-asshole folk record for small moments in small places.” Danny’s music is regional. It’s steeped in his affection for his home in the hinterland, a blue collar town, the stink of the pulp mill, and everyday life in Northern BC.
