A master storyteller, David turns life’s everyday moments into unforgettable stories with lots of laughs between his gorgeous folk songs.
For decades, he worked across Canada in rail yards, construction sites, and in the Yukon bush, all the while writing poetry, setting it to melodies in his head and singing it to himself as he worked.
With a voice like warm whisky and stories that’ll make you laugh, cry, and everything in between, David’s show feels like catching up with an old friend.
Winner of four Juno Awards, including the 2024 Traditional Roots Album of the Year with 'The Breath Between', David will leave you with a spring in your step and you'll be humming his tunes long after the night ends.
