Tonight we celebrate the release of the final instalment of the expansive "Era" box sets released over the past 10 years.Released this week, the new set is the latest instalment in the award-winning and critically acclaimed series that includes DAVID BOWIE 1. FIVE YEARS (1969 – 1973), DAVID BOWIE 2. WHO CAN I BE NOW? (1974 – 1976), DAVID BOWIE 3. A NEW CAREER IN A NEW TOWN (1977 – 1982), DAVID BOWIE 4. LOVING THE ALIEN (1983-1988) and DAVID BOWIE 5. BRILLIANT ADVENTURE (1992-2001).
The 'I Can't Give Everything Away' box set contains Bowie's final 4 studio albums, 'Heathen', 'Reality', 'The Next Day' and 'Black Star' along with two live collections, the posthumous 'No Plan' E.P. and an extensive collection of officially released singles, b.sides, 12" re-mixes, soundtrack and collaborative tracks.
Odeon Richmond will be playing material exclusive to this set such as the live 'Montreux Jazz Festival' & selections from RE:CALL 6.
We will also be playing the albums 'Heathen' and 'Reality' in the rarely heard 5.1 surround sound mixes.
This event is free entry so put on your red shoes and dress in your satin and tat and celebrate Bowie with like minds at Odeon Richmond.
