Whoever says DAVE must also say Poco Paradiso! And whoever says Poco Paradiso definitely has a lot of disco in front of the hut. Speaking of cabins, we've found them in the form of the colorful Kultur WG »Kukulida« and will be firing up the disco turbo on October 4, 2024 and have signed a few real traffic hooligans with the Poco Paradiso racing team, who neither slow down on steep curves nor care about genre boundaries. So that you can slowly get used to the speed, the race starts at 18:00 with a few warm-up laps.The cars are first class this time. After plenty of qualifying races, Schmidt & Fischer have secured grid position 1. They switch casually back and forth between cool wave, crude NDW and well-oiled post-punk. They master the chicanes ice-cold and with a mischievous smile.
On starting position 2, Reinorgeln from Osnabrück already have their foot on the gas or organ pedal and are letting the pipes steam. Live, they will be pumping out the dancefloor hits of the last 138 years. Their electronic organs will confidently pound out the beat. Lap after lap, they organ their way to the front of the race.
In third place on the grid, Johan Solo from Madrid waits relaxed in the underground garage for his starting signal. This takes place punctually at 01:00. Because he knows that when he starts the gearbox with cosmic disco, unusual space sounds, the wildest Spanish rarities and explosive Italo tracks, there's no stopping the tires and the dancefloor.
Of course, every race also includes a Savety Car. This time not driven by Bernd Mayländer, but by the Poco Paradiso DJs themselves.
