** Location has been moved** A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Dave Weissert on Sunday September 22nd at the *Deer Creek Picnic Area in Susquehanna State park.*

We invite all who loved him to join our family from 10am onward. We will hold a service at 11am, with a cookout lunch to follow including hamburgers and hotdogs. We have the space reserved til dusk.
Please RSVP on the Facebook event, we are trying to get a headcount for food.
The park has an entry fee per vehicle requirement -
$2 - MD resident
$4 - Out of State resident
We encourage people to bring a camping chair to accommodate potential overflow from the pavilion.
Dress code -
Dave requested people wear baseball attire, hopefully Orioles themed. Shirts, hoodies, hats, etc.
We have designated speakers for the service, and then we will open the mic up for anyone to share. The requirement is you must tell a corny joke to approach the mic. The MC will be enforcing this rule, so come prepared.
Dave wanted a celebration of life, not a solemn funeral. He loved a good party, and he loved bringing people together most. We hope you will honor his wishes with us for theme and intention of the day. We hope you enjoy catching up with old friends, and maybe end up walking away having made a few new ones too.
