Dave Matthews Band has announced their annual summer tour with a stop at Jones Beach on Wed, June 11 - tix: https://davematthewsband.jonesbeach.comDave Matthews Band doesn’t take summers off. Like clockwork, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers announced they’re taking off on an annual nationwide trek for the 33rd time dating back to 1991. On this go-round, Dave and co. will headline stadiums, arenas, arts centers, pavilions, amphitheaters and festivals all over North America from April through August.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Dave Matthews will continue to further minimize the environmental footprint of the 2025 DMB tour - pursuing the goal of diverting at least 90% of fan-generated waste from landfills for the second year in a row. In 2025 the band’s continued partnership with @nature_org’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign will bring the total to six million trees planted since 2020. Dave Matthews Band new music - In May 2023, Dave Matthews Band dropped their tenth studio album “Walk Around The Moon.”
Over 12 tracks, DMB delivers their trademark bluesy, folksy, rock sound along with a few new flourishes.
Personally, we’re partial to the album’s title track, the deceptively simple “The Ocean and the Butterfly” and the rowdy, rollicking barnstorming good time of a song “After Everything.”
