Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3pm in the Arn Room at Warminster Civic Centre: a themed 45-minute concert of mainly classical music, introduced by the performers. There is a pop-up café from 2.30pm serving tea, coffee and home-made cakes, where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert. Trio Paradis Cafe Concerts are 'pay-what-you-feel' via a retiring collection, to keep live music affordable for everyone.
Our March concert, in celebration of International Women’s Day, consists of music by women composers, featuring Alice Verne-Bredt: Phantasie Trio, the sublime slow movement of Cécile Chaminade’s Trio no2, and Rosalind Ellicott’s Trio in D minor, alongside music by two ‘locals’: a scherzo by Bath composer Kate Loder and a concerto movement by Dora Bright who for many years lived at Babington House.
There's no need to book, though an RVSP via our website is very much appreciated…turn up early for best choice of table. More information at www.trioparadis.com..
