About the Founder

The Daughters of Faith Women’s Ministry was founded by Jemina McCarter Ballard, Worship Pastor and visionary leader. Born into a military family in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jemina’s journey has been shaped by faith and resilience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and currently serves as a Human Resources Assistant for the U.S. government.

Jemina’s calling to ministry began in 2008 as the leader of “House of Praise,” a dance ministry at Victory International Christian Center. In 2011, she hosted the first women’s conference where Daughters of Faith was born—a growing movement of over 150 women dedicated to faith, fellowship, and outreach. Through initiatives like worship nights, praise rallies, and community givebacks, Daughters of Faith inspires women to embrace their worth, overcome challenges, and walk boldly in their purpose.

Jemina is also the author of Sisters Know Your Worth (Volume I) and continues to create opportunities for women to glow into the best versions of themselves.
