Fourth Sunday Flow presents... Bonnie Belle & Datura Style!Datura Style is a dance style and technique approach developed by Rachel Brice that is heavily influenced by FatChanceBellyDance, along with other styles of dance. In this workshop, Bonnie will guide you through a series of timed steps and arrhythmic moves from Datura Style vocabulary that focus on big, slow, gooey movements that can be incorporated into choreography or group improvisation. Each move will be broken down and drilled, and then strung together into an improvisational flow drill.
This workshop is ideal for upper beginner/intermediate level dancers who want to go beyond the basics and learn some unusual stylizations.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
🔥Datura Style Vocabulary, including the Twisting Mardi, Weird Water Snake, Jewel Scale, Cab Maya, Sidewinder, Side undulation, Queen of the Damned, and more!
🔥Combine these movements into an improv drill
Levels: This workshop is ideal for upper beginner/intermediate level dancers who want to go beyond the basics and learn some unusual stylizations.
