Date Night: Evening in the French Riviera (NEW)

Escape to the sun-drenched coastline of southern France for a night of elegant, seaside-inspired cooking that captures the essence of Riviera relaxed and refined dining. In this hands-on culinary experience, you’ll prepare a menu that celebrates the bold, fresh flavors of the Mediterranean—think sun-ripened produce, briny shellfish, fragrant herbs, and a splash of good wine. Led by chef instructor Shawnie Kelley, you’ll learn classic techniques—from roasting and whipping to simmering shellfish in a fragrant wine sauce. Shawnie will demonstrate how to make fresh pasta and you will put together your seafood dish using housemade linguine. With the scent of garlic and herbs in the air and a glass of chilled rosé in hand, you’ll cook, taste, and toast to an unforgettable evening by the sea.

Tomato & Goat Cheese Crostinis – crispy baguette topped with creamy whipped goat cheese, roasted tomatoes, and Provençal herbs make a perfect French appetizer.

Seafood Linguine with White Wine & Garlic – A luxurious pasta dish featuring a medley of fresh shellfish—like mussels, clams, and shrimp—simmered in a white wine, garlic, and herb sauce and tossed with al dente linguine.Salade de Fenouil et Agrumes (Fennel & Citrus Salad) – A crisp, refreshing salad with shaved fennel, bright citrus, olives, and a light vinaigrette to awaken the palate.Peach and Lavender Clafoutis - A refined baked custard laced with sweet summer peaches and lightly perfumed with lavender—simple, elegant, and very French.

• Aprons are provided.
• Please wear long pants and closed-toe, flat shoes.
• No sandals, flip-flops, or high heels are permitted in the kitchen for safety reasons.
• If you have long hair, make sure it is pulled back.

If you need to cancel your class booking, you may do so up to 48 hours before the class to receive a refund or class credit.
If The Mix must cancel a class, you will be notified immediately by phone or email and given the option to switch to another class of equal value or receive a full refund.
