Datblygu Cydweithio Effeithiol
Mae Prifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd yn brifysgol sy'n canolbwyntio ar fusnes ac ar anghenion diwydiant, masnach, sefydliadau'r sector cyhoeddus a gwirfoddol. Mae ein sylfaen ymchwil ac addysgu gref yn darparu llwyfan ar gyfer datblygu ystod eang o wasanaethau sy'n berthnasol i lawer o fathau o ddiwydiannau.
Gwahoddir cwmnïau ar draws pob sector i ymuno â ni mewn digwyddiad boreol cyffrous ddydd Mawrth 2 Gorffennaf, yn cynnwys cyfres ysbrydoledig o gyflwyniadau amserol i hwyluso cysylltiadau academaidd a diwydiant.
Ymhlith y siaradwyr fydd yn ymuno â ni i drafod y gwahanol gyfleoedd bydd Geraint Jones o Innovate UK, Richard Hawkins o SO Modular, Richard Morgan o Lywodraeth Cymru, Hayley Mills o InBio, Emma Wootten o Age Connects Torfaen, a'r Athro John Littlewood, Dr Imtiaz . Bydd sesiwn rwydweithio yn rhan o’r sesiwn bore lle caiff cynrychiolwyr o’r diwydiant gyfle i gwrdd a sgwrsio ag academyddion brwd dros goffi i archwilio cysylltiadau a syniadau posibl ar gyfer cydweithio.

Mae Partneriaeth Trosglwyddo Gwybodaeth (KTP) yn bartneriaeth rhwng cwmni, prifysgol a myfyriwr graddedig sy’n cydweithio i gyflawni prosiect strategol ar gyfer y busnes na fyddai’r cwmni’n gallu ei wneud heb y wybodaeth a’r arbenigedd a ddarperir gan y Brifysgol. Bydd Geraint Jones o Innovate UK, yr Athro John Littlewood o Met Caerdydd a Richard Hawkins o SO Modular yn rhannu gwybodaeth am y rhaglen a phrofiadau o safbwyntiau academaidd a diwydiant.

Cyllid Arloesi Llywodraeth Cymru
Mae Partneriaethau SMART yn cynnig cymorth ariannol i brosiectau cydweithredu arloesol sydd angen ystod o arbenigedd i helpu busnesau i dyfu, gwella cynhyrchiant a chynyddu cystadleurwydd. Mae Met Caerdydd wedi cael nifer o brosiectau Partneriaeth SMART llwyddiannus ac mae rhai ohonynt wedi arwain at Bartneriaethau Trosglwyddo Gwybodaeth. Bydd Richard Morgan o Lywodraeth Cymru, Dr James Blaxland o Met Caerdydd a Hayley Mills o InBio yn siarad am y rhaglen a’u profiadau o safbwynt academaidd a diwydiant.

DementiaConnect
Wedi'i ariannu gan y Longitude Prize on Dementia fawreddog, mae'r ap DementiaConnect yn integreiddio data gwybyddol, ffisiolegol a seicolegol bron mewn amser real i gynnig dealltwriaeth gynhwysfawr o'r profiad byw. Mae'r datrysiad arloesol hwn yn galluogi pobl â dementia i sefydlu cymunedau rhithwir a darparu cymorth ar y cyd, a thrwy hynny leddfu rhai o'r beichiau ar eu gofalwyr. Bydd Dr Imtiaz Khan o Met Caerdydd ac Emma Wootten o Age Connects Torfaen yn siarad am y prosiect cyffrous hwn.

Developing Effective Collaborations
Cardiff Metropolitan University is a business-orientated university focusing on the needs of industry, commerce, public and voluntary sector organisations. Our strong research and teaching base provide the platform for the development of a wide range of services relevant to many types of industries.
Companies across all sectors are invited to join us at an exciting morning event on Tuesday 2 July, featuring an inspiring series of topical presentations to facilitate academic and industry connections.
Speakers joining us and discussing the different opportunities on the morning include Geraint Jones from Innovate UK, Richard Hawkins from SO Modular, Richard Morgan from Welsh Government, Hayley Mills from InBio, Emma Wootten from Age Connects Torfaen, and Prof. John Littlewood, Dr Imtiaz Khan and Dr James Blaxland from Cardiff Met.
A facilitated networking session will be built into the morning where industry delegates will be able to meet and chat over a coffee with keen academics to actively explore potential linkages and ideas for collaboration.

KTPs
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a partnership between a company, university and a graduate (Associate) who work together to deliver a strategic project for the business which the company would be unable to do without the knowledge and expertise provided by the University. Geraint Jones from Innovate UK, Prof. John Littlewood from Cardiff Met and Richard Hawkins from SO Modular will be sharing information on the programme and experiences from both academic and industry points of view.

Welsh Government Innovation Funding
SMART Partnerships offer financial support to innovative collaboration projects that require a range of expertise to help businesses grow, improve productivity and increase competitiveness. Cardiff Met has had a number of successful SMART Partnership projects some of which have led onto Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. Richard Morgan from Welsh Government, Dr James Blaxland from Cardiff Met and Hayley Mills from InBio will be talking about the programme and their experiences from an academic and industry perspective.

DementiaConnect
Funded by the prestigious Longitude Prize on Dementia, the DementiaConnect app integrates near real-time cognitive, physiological, and psychological data to offer a comprehensive understanding of the lived experience. This innovative solution allows people with dementia to establish virtual communities and provide mutual support, thereby alleviating some of the burdens on their caregivers. Dr Imtiaz Khan from Cardiff Met and Emma Wootten from Age Connects Torfaen will be speaking about this exciting project.

Konfer is a digital platform where universities and businesses can connect to find opportunities to collaborate on innovative projects. The morning will include a session from Konfer where the platform will be discussed in more detail.
