“Dash for Cash” is an event where a rider on top of a horse runs a predetermined distance in a straight line, turns a barrel and then runs across a finish line without knocking over a barrel as fast as
they can. If they knock the barrel over, it will be a disqualification. Individual runs are timed, and the
fastest two times for each rotation advance to the final round. The rotational winners will then run
against each other for the prize money in the finals.
