Palestine YMCA, Palestine Regional Medical Center, and iTri365 bring you a one-of-a-kind experience on January 1st, New Year's Day 2025! This timed 5K will start and end at the City of Palestine pool gates at Palestine YMCA. Whether you are a seasoned racer or a family looking for something fun to do while the kids are out of school, this run is for you. After the race, there is an optional polar plunge in the pool! There will be a separate competition and awards for the plunge...categories to be announced closer to the date. Will you be brave enough to take the plunge? (Only registered racers will be permitted to plunge)
Race shirts, amazing finisher medals, and swag bags are guaranteed for the first 150 racers.
Packet pickup will be all day December 30-31st and January 1st at 8am.
The race will begin at 9am and will include a timer chip with your bib.
There are sponsorship opportunities available and all profits from this race will go to the Palestine YMCA's Active Older Adults program.
