The Neuro Farm https://www.theneurofarm.com/ One of our favorite darkwave acts, as well as creators and co-producers of Dark Wave Night, The Neuro Farm is a darkwave gothic rock band based in Washington DC. Combining vocal harmony with soaring violin melodies, driving rhythm guitar, and ethereal sonic textures, their music has been described as hauntingly beautiful. The Neuro Farm draws on influences such as Joy Division, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sigur Ros, Chelsea Wolfe, Portishead, and Rammstein.
Red This Ever
Welcome home local synth rock legends and Vanguard DC founders, Red This Ever! This Baltimore based act with their shy angst and catchy hooks are “the coolest triangular peg to fit in a square hole”. Their uniquely dark and clever pop songs will intoxicate and enchant you, and their tongue-in-cheek performances make for a riotously fun live show. Red This Ever will bring you quirky alt electro-rock with intriguing melodies and infectious rhythms that harken back to the glorious days of the Post-Punk, New Wave revolution.
https://www.ilikealice.com/ AL1CE blends elements of electronic, darkwave, and progressive rock (think Daft Punk, the Cure, and Pink Floyd), with surrealistic and fantastic imagery, to create a dreamy, intimate, dark yet cathartic experience for fans. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland’s concept of embarking on a journey “through the looking glass”, AL1CE’s music explores universal themes of the sacred feminine and masculine, yin and yang, challenges and transcendence... the Unity of Opposites.
Fans have described AL1CE’s performances as “energetic and beautiful”, “diverse, engaging and heartfelt”, “dark, yet uplifting”, “some of the best live-instrument performances I’ve ever seen” and “goosebumps good”.
Based in Los Angeles, AL1CE prides itself on a dynamic & immersive live experience. Highlights include headlining the Anime Expo Convention (an international anime festival, with over 100k yearly attendants), representing the U.S. State Department as cultural envoys to Uzbekistan and Algeria, performing annually at the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball (North America’s largest masquerade event), and extensively touring throughout North America.
