Glenn Stratakes is a visual artist and photographer originally from Baltimore, Maryland, now based in Bristol, Virginia, where he has lived for over 30 years. His work centers on the beauty and complexity of the everyday—landscapes, florals, architectural forms, and found objects—transformed through the lens and further reimagined in the digital darkroom. Stratakes blends photographic precision with expressive post-processing techniques to challenge perception and perspective. His images often blur the line between reality and abstraction, encouraging viewers to explore not just what is seen, but how it is seen. With a practiced eye and a deep appreciation for nuance, Glenn transforms the ordinary into something contemplative, mysterious, and visually arresting.
