About this Event
The Pittsburgh Chapter of Dark Sky International meets for presentations, movies, book readings, pub walks, action planning and celebration of success. Dark skies benefit everyone through better human health, better animal and plant health, less economic and environmental costs and the possibility for connection to the night sky of our ancestors.
Meetings at the Allegheny Observatory include a tour of the building and viewing if the weather is good. Note that some meetings are offsite.
The building is handicapped accessible to the first floor, where the meetings are held.
