About the author
Amaris Chase grew up on a healthy diet of Hammer Horror TV and films, Sapphire and Steel and Victorian ghost stories which fuelled her passion for all things supernatural. Her short
stories and poetry have been published in numerous anthologies, including Spooky Ambiguous (2022), Festival of Cats (2023), The Wild Night Sky (2023) and Home Ground (2024). Dark Moon Tales is her first short story collection.
She currently lives in Edinburgh where she supports her local bookshops, independent cafes (where her stories are often first crafted), stationery stores, and dabbles in book art and painting.
