🦇Dark Disco Presents: Dlina VolnyDlina Volny bedeutet auf Englisch „Wellenlänge“. Der Name ist eine Hommage an die Faszination für Sinuswellen und die Physik des Klangs. Das zweite Album des Trios, Dazed, ist ein selbsternannter „Love Thriller“. Abgemischt von Dean Hurley, einem häufigen Mitarbeiter und Produzenten von David Lynch, ist die Platte wunderschön. Elegante Synthesizer werden von den brutalen Bässen der Rhythmusgruppe flankiert. Die Instrumente bilden die Bühne für den Altgesang, der wie ein warmer Nebel in einer kalten Nacht über dem Album schwebt. Hurley ist auch der Tontechniker, der uns Anfang des Jahres Jorja Chalmers' „Midnight Train“ bescherte, sowie Remixe für die italienischen Vorzeigekünstler Desire und Chromatics.

„SimonTRYtoCRY“ lässt aus melancholischen Melodien und Akkorden Coldwave-Songs entstehen, die über Simon Goods persönliche Erfahrungen mit Sehnsüchten und Depressionen handeln und von Emo-Rap angehauchten Trap-Hihats angetrieben werden.
Unterstützt von Co-Creator der „simonTRYtoCRY“-visuals und Bassistin Lars Gwendolin Good erweckt Sänger Simon Good den „simonTRYtoCRY“-Sound live mithilfe von Synthesizer, E-Gitarre und Drummachine zum leben.

Dlina Volny translates into the English word “Wavelength.” The name is a homage to their fascination with sine waves & the physics of sound. The trio's sophomore album Dazed is a self-proclaimed "Love Thriller". Mixed by Dean Hurley, frequent David Lynch collaborator & producer, the record is gorgeous. Elegant synthesis is flanked by the brut low end of the rhythm section. The instruments set the stage for contralto vocals that hover like a warm fog on a chilly night. Hurley is also the engineer who brought us Jorja Chalmers' "Midnight Train" earlier this year, as well as remixes for Italians Do It Better flagship artists Desire & Chromatics.

“SimonTRYtoCRY” creates coldwave-songs from melancholic melodies and chords that are about Simon Goods personal experiences with feelings of longing and depression and are driven by emo-rap-inspired trap hi-hats.
Supported by co-creator of the “simonTRYtoCRY”-visuals and bassist Lars Gwendolin Good, singer Simon Good brings the “simonTRYtoCRY” sound on stage to life with synthesizer, electric guitar and drum machine.
