We Welcome Guest DJ Lorraine Maguire to come and do our 8PM session!Lorraine Maguire is on a journey of self-development, a lover of music and dance, and Dark Dance crew member. Dark Dance has played a huge part in her transformation journey and been instrumental in helping her find her inner gold. Her soul has quite literally been on fire as she has danced away issues in the dark.
She’s always loved music and lived in London where she spent nights dancing at Ministry of Sound, Pacha and Camden Palace. She says, “Dark Dance is like reliving my youth but sober and I love it!”
Dark Dance has been in her life since 2018 and has helped her dance away 20kg, anxiety and depression. “Dancing lifts you up and it’s hard to feel depressed when you’re whoop-whooping in the dark.”
Dark Dance is your weekly weekday dose of dance in total darkness. Get some bass in your bones, some swing in your step, and some party in your heart on a Monday night. No bar, no lights, big sound, and different tunes, every session, every week. Doors open at 8pm.
What to bring:
- Water
- Comfortable dancing shoes
- $10 cash or your multi-trip card
- A minimum of belongings and no valuables
- No drugs or alcohol
- A big smile
This event is in DARKNESS but we do not tolerate creepy behavior. Creeps stay home! We have a zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior and are very much about providing a safe space. If you're worried about the way someone is acting please report this to our crew - your safety and enjoyment is our top priority. We always bring a first aid kit but we've never used it!
All are welcome but we ask that you are over 16 if come along and attend the event because we don't sensor songs for the kids.
Please make sure you arrive ten minutes before the session time to avoid being locked out; the doors automatically lock when they close and we can't hear knocking once the music starts.
From time to time we reach capacity and can't fit everyone in, so please arrive on time with everyone you are planning to party with to avoid disappointment.
