Morning of Service for Dare Dems: Let's join the N.C. Coastal Federation on Monday, Jan. 20, Martin Luther King Day, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for a debris cleanup of the Federation’s adopted roadsides and adjacent areas. Looking for some highway heroes to help pave the way for a debris free start to the year!Participants will meet at a central location to check in with staff and pick up supplies at the Vista Creek Event Venue along the Federation’s Adopted Highway NC 345. We will then work in small groups and divide up to cover different areas. Remember to bring water, a snack and any medications you may need. Please dress appropriately for the weather as this entire event will take place outdoors. Sturdy shoes for walking in wet, uneven areas are also recommended, especially boots. Trash bags, gloves and other clean up materials will be provided.
