Local Authors & Illustrators present about their work and sign books (just in time for the holiday gift-giving season) for you! Door prize! Snacks! Free. All ages.Open to All. Whether you are an adult who loves writing and illustration, a grandparent who'd like a unique holiday gift to give or a kid who loves reading and wants to meet an author or illustrator -- come on down! You can come to meet one creator, or stay for the whole 2 hours and watch each presentation.
Cathy Stefanec Ogren, author of the cozy book, "The Little Red Chair", a Cybils Award Finalist and "PEW! The Stinky Legen-DAIRY Gift from Thomas S. Meacham", which will thrill any cheese-lover or history buff!
Ellen T. Crenshaw is the illustrator/cartoonist of The Baby-Sitter Club books "Jessi Ramsey: Pet-Sitter", "Stacey's Mistake" and "Kristy and the Walking Disaster" as well as other titles such as "What Was the Turning Point of the Civil War? Alfred Waud Goes to Gettysburg". Back by popular demand, Ellen will show you how to draw Kristy from The Baby-Sitters Club!
Luke Reynolds, author of YA, middle grade and picture books, is also a teacher at Endicott College. His titles include "Surviving Middle School", "If My Love Were a Fire Truck", and "The Gumazing Gum Girl" books: "Gum Luck", "Cover Blown" and "Popped Star", amongst many others!
Betsy Ellor, author of "My Dog Is NOT a Scientist", will give a presentation with her book about a dog who keeps messing up a girl's science experiments.
