Danvers High School Field Hockey Boosters Presents a Night Of Laughter featuring some of the biggest names in Boston Comedy
Friday September 26th @ Wicked Funny North Andover (946 Osgood St inside The China Blossom Restaurant). The Merrimack Valley's Premier Comedy Club
8:30 show time ~ doors open at 6:30. Come early and enjoy China Blossom's award winning buffet and full menu along with their specialty cocktails in the comedy room. THIS IS A 21+ EVENT PER TOWN OF NORTH ANDOVER LIQUOR COMMISSION
$35 per person for the show. Full menu and buffet is available for sale in the comedy room before and during the show. 50/50 raffle will be drawn at end of the show. If you are unable to attend and would like to make a donation, there is a donation button in the ticket link.
Featuring some of the biggest names in Boston Comedy and some special guests
Tony Moschetto has written many bios throughout his life. In them, he lists accomplishments, like writing for stage and screen, a comedian, an award-winning filmmaker, and this and that. But, did you know some of his lesser-known accomplishments? -Came in 101st (last place) at the 2000 Topsfield Fair Giant Pumpkin contest. -Traveled across the USA three times. -Lists his emergency contact as "whoever's reading this" (congratulations, you are now Tony Moschetto's emergency contact) -" Kinda" broke the hip of the man who invented the whiffle ball while playing tennis. And so on... In his spare time, Tony likes to read and play tennis, not at the same time, though.
Mark Scalia has been a comedy favorite with audiences for over 30 years. From comedy clubs to Comedy Central, cable programs to hosting live events, he has entertained tens of thousands of people across the US and Canada. His material is funny, insightful and personable. He is able to craft his sets to include all ages.
Mark has performed in many comedy festivals including Boston, Seattle, and New Orleans. He is the proud founder and host of the Salem Comedy & Spirits Festival, an annual event that brings a variety of talented comedians from across the US to historic Salem, MA.
Chris Pennie has been entertaining crowds since 2005. As a life long bachelor and full-time single dad Chris relies on his dysfunctional family and off beat view of the world to find humor in every day life. If you have kids or were one in the past you’ll be entertained by Chris’ daily battles. In 2012, Chris has been a finalist in CMTs Next Big Comic. In 2011, he was a finalist in the Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival and Dick Doherty’s Beantown Comedy Riots as well as being invited to the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta and the Boston Comedy festival. Also notably, Chris was a finalist in the Mohegan Sun “Funniest Amateur Comic in New England.
Frank Santorelli is an Italian-American who is best known for playing the recurring role of "Georgie the Bartender" in The Sopranos. Frank is also well known for his star role in The Godfathers of Comedy and has starred in numerous movies, including: No Reservations, Meet the Parents, and Crooked Lines. Santorelli's passion has always been comedy and he has headlined at some of the world's most famous comedy clubs.
