I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree to the following:
All allergens will be available and presented on the night.
1. Voluntary Participation
I am voluntarily choosing to participate in the spicy food eating competition (“Competition”).
2. Health Risks
I understand that consuming extremely spicy foods can cause serious short-term and/or long-term health effects, including but not limited to:
Burning sensations of the mouth, throat, and stomach
Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
Allergic reactions
Breathing difficulties
Increased heart rate, blood pressure, or sweating
Potential need for medical attention
3. Assumption of Risk
I knowingly and freely assume all risks associated with consuming extremely spicy foods during this Competition.
4. Personal Responsibility
I affirm that I am in good physical health, have no known medical conditions that may be aggravated by the consumption of spicy foods, and have not been advised by a medical professional to avoid spicy food.
5. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge the event organizers, sponsors, venue, staff, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from my participation in the Competition.
6. Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I consent to medical treatment deemed necessary by qualified medical personnel and accept full financial responsibility for such treatment.
