Are we going into the night?
I can't see the stars.
Night Shift is an exploration of fear, trust and guidance. We are going into the night!
It is also Erik Linghede’s fourth stage production and first solo performance.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Erik Linghede is a dancer, photographer, producer and choreographer who began his journey in the field when, during the period 2006-2014, he actively participated in the street dance/battle scene nationally and internationally. During this period, Erik also produced a number of different battles and scenic concepts (Almost A Jam, Scandinavian Superjam & Oldschool Battle, etc.) Since 2014, Erik Linghede has concentrated on choreographing and producing his own scenic works based on technique, aesthetics and feeling from the street dance field. Works include: "HOLD" (2014), "IDIOM" (2016), "DRONE" (2018).
In recent years (2019-2023), Erik Linghede has reworked his choreographic practice through still photography in the exhibition series "High Definition 1 & 2" (2020/2021) and "Portals" (2023). In 2022, Erik Linghede presented his latest take on choreography "SUNRISE"- a headphone-based concert where the sunrise at a specific vantage point is choreographed through a customized soundtrack composed by Yared Tilahun Cederlund. In addition to his artistic practices, Erik is active as a project manager for the association GATUVERKET.
